And right now, officials are under pressure to get it right. --- **No Room for Carelessness** Yeshi Wangmu Ringu, the Electoral Roll Observer (ERO) for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Tawang district, made it crystal clear on Wednesday — the SIR process must be conducted carefully and strictly in line with prescribed guidelines to ensure a clean, accurate, inclusive and error-free electoral roll. Ringu, who also serves as the Finance Commissioner of the Arunachal Pradesh government, was reviewing the progress of the ongoing revision exercise in the district. She didn't mince words. Documents need to be preserved properly. Instructions from the Election Commission of India need to be followed — not loosely, not partially, but fully. --- **Hearings Must Happen Fast** One of the more pointed directions she gave — and this one matters a lot for ordinary voters — was about hearings.
