Tripura has brought fresh laurels to the Northeast, with two of its prominent schools earning recognition in the latest EducationWorld India School Rankings, highlighting the state’s growing reputation for quality education.
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar, Agartala, has secured a place among the Top 20 schools in India in the assessment conducted by EducationWorld. The achievement marks the school’s third consecutive year among the country’s top-ranked schools — it had secured the 22nd and 23rd positions in the previous two years before moving up to 20th this year.
Governor Congratulates the School
Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, a former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, congratulated the Secretary Maharaj, the Swamijis of the Ramakrishna Mission, teachers, staff, students and alumni for the achievement. He highlighted the institution’s unique distinction as the only school in the entire Northeast recognised by UNESCO as an ASPnet UNESCO Associated School, calling it a matter of pride for Tripura and the whole region.
Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir Ranked Fourth in State
Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir has also earned recognition in the EducationWorld rankings, securing fourth position in Tripura. In a social media post, the school described the recognition as “a moment of pride and gratitude”, crediting the collective dedication of its teachers, the hard work of students, the trust of parents and the continued support of the Bhavan’s family. Tanni Akhter received the award on behalf of the school at a ceremony held in New Delhi.
The school authority expressed gratitude to everyone associated with its journey and reiterated its commitment to pursuing academic excellence while nurturing students into responsible and compassionate human beings.
