Itanagar’s own Dobom Doji Collective — a folk rock band that has long been weaving the raw spirit of Arunachal Pradesh into their music — will take the stage at Soundscapes of India Season 3, India’s premier Showcase Music Festival and Global Conference, held from 21–23 August 2026 in New Delhi. Sharing the spotlight are Da-La-Riti from Meghalaya, Seyie Intrepid from Nagaland, SIYOM from Manipur, and pop-punk outfit Street Stories. For anyone who has watched Northeast music quietly build momentum over the years, this lineup feels like a long-overdue arrival.
A Stage Built to Export Indian Music
Soundscapes of India (SOI) has evolved into the country’s first integrated music market platform — built to discover, present, and export Indian music globally. Think of it less like a regular music festival and more like a launchpad. The platform brings together a showcase festival, a global music market for bookings and touring, conference dialogues, pitching sessions, collaboration labs, and mentorship workshops. It is, in short, exactly the kind of infrastructure that independent artists from smaller markets like Arunachal Pradesh have always needed but rarely had access to.
