In a moment of pride for Arunachal Pradesh, Nisai Wangsu Saham from Namsangmukh village has been crowned Mrs. Tirap-Changlang-Longding 2025. The grand finale of the pageant took place on February 28, 2025, at the DK Convention Centre in Itanagar, where Nisai outshone other contestants to claim the prestigious title.
The event, organized by Hornbill Production, saw ten talented finalists compete for the crown. Nisai’s grace, confidence, and charm won over the judges, earning her the top spot. Alongside the title, she received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a gift hamper. The first runner-up, Takam Yallu from Tirap district, was awarded Rs. 30,000, while Techi Neme Phom from Longding district took the second runner-up position with a prize of Rs. 20,000.
The pageant was a celebration of beauty, talent, and empowerment, with participants showcasing their skills in various rounds. Adding glamour to the evening, Bollywood actress and former beauty queen Soha Ali Khan attended as the chief guest. She praised the contestants for their poise and determination, inspiring them to pursue their dreams fearlessly.
During the event, Soha Ali Khan also felicitated the winners and shared her thoughts on the significance of such platforms in empowering women. The night was further elevated by a soulful performance from renowned Arunachali singer Taba Meth, who captivated the audience with her melodious voice.
