In a move to promote environmental conservation and honor motherhood, Minister Thakur participated in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (A Tree in Mother’s Name) initiative. She planted a sapling in the APPBN Colony, symbolizing the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the empowerment of women.

Concluding her visit, Minister Thakur, accompanied by officials and the director, met with Chief Minister Pema Khandu. The meeting centered on collaborative efforts between the central and state governments to implement and enhance welfare schemes for women and children in Arunachal Pradesh.
