Kamdi Village in Arunachal Gains Vibrant Community Center with Inauguration of Traditional ‘Dere’ by MLA Topin Ete

Residents of Kamdi village in Aalo Circle, West Siang district, celebrated a milestone as local legislator Topin Ete unveiled a freshly built ‘Dere’—a cherished traditional assembly space designed to foster cultural preservation and social unity.

This swift accomplishment, finalized in a mere six months since approval, stands as a vital upgrade to the area’s communal facilities. Nestled roughly 2 km from Aalo town, Kamdi has always thrived on its deep-rooted traditions, and the new structure is poised to become the heart of local festivities, discussions, and heritage activities.

During the unveiling ceremony, Ete praised the Public Works Department (PWD) Aalo Division and the project contractor for their prompt and effective execution. He attributed the area’s accelerating growth to the forward-thinking stewardship of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, noting how such initiatives reflect Arunachal Pradesh’s dynamic push toward sustainable advancement.

Ete reaffirmed his dedication to the 30-Aalo West Assembly Constituency, vowing that all current and upcoming endeavors would maintain this high standard of resolve, turning commitments into tangible community benefits.

The gathering drew elders, supporters, and fellow villagers, whose active participation was hailed as essential to bringing this vision to life.
