These efforts were supported and monitored by Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC) Banom Tayeng, who appreciated the association’s commitment to education.

Community Engagement and Future Goals

A public meeting held at Government Primary School Tekang brought together stakeholders, including parents, students, teachers, and APSPA representatives.

Key Highlights:

  • Environmental Activities: Initiatives such as planting tree saplings on school grounds were introduced to promote eco-consciousness among students.
  • Fundraising Efforts: A lottery organized by APSPA East Siang helped raise funds to support these developmental activities.

CRCC Tayeng also encouraged parents to maintain proper documentation to avail various government benefits, such as sanitary napkins for girls, stipends, and aid for children with special needs.

Recognizing Contributions

The event included a farewell for Head Teacher Dikiam Tamuk, who was honored with state and district commendation certificates for his outstanding service.
Community members and parents expressed gratitude to the district’s education officials and local MLAs for their support. They urged the government to retain these officials to ensure consistent monitoring and progress.

Conclusion
