The recent deployment of CRPF personnel at a primary school to facilitate the dam project has ignited widespread outrage. Critics argue that this move is a violation of the rule of law and demand its immediate reversal.
In August 2024, the Arunachal Pradesh police were tasked with assessing security threats related to the survey and core drilling for the dam project at specific locations. This led to significant protests from local villagers.
