Dhekiajuli (Assam): Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu participated as the chief guest in the ‘Youth Will Lead’ programme held at Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district of Assam on April 3.
The event, aimed at inspiring and empowering the youth of the Northeast, saw active participation from young leaders, students, and local representatives. CM Pema Khandu addressed the gathering and highlighted the critical role of the youth in shaping the future of the region.
Speaking at the programme, Pema Khandu emphasised the importance of education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and strong value systems among the youth. He urged young people to take the lead in nation-building and work towards the progress of the Northeast.
The Arunachal Chief Minister also shared his government’s initiatives for youth empowerment, including focus on sports, skill training, entrepreneurship, and better educational opportunities. He invited the youth of Assam to collaborate with Arunachal Pradesh for joint development and cultural exchange.
The ‘Youth Will Lead’ programme is designed to motivate young minds to become agents of positive change, promote leadership qualities, and encourage active participation in social and economic development.
CM Pema Khandu’s presence at the event was widely appreciated and is being seen as a strong gesture of regional unity and cooperation between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
