Anjaw, Arunachal Pradesh – Braving heavy rainfall, Arunachal Pradesh Minister Dasanglu Pul inspected key infrastructure projects in Anjaw district, reaffirming the government’s commitment to improving connectivity and public services in the region.
During her visit, Minister Pul assessed the progress of multiple development projects, including the upgradation of the road linking NH-113 to Charnai village. She emphasized the importance of this project in enhancing transportation for local residents. Additionally, she reviewed the construction of a bypass road to Old Hawai Town, which is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve mobility.
Education infrastructure was also a key focus, with the minister visiting the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) and Walla Middle School in Hawai. She stressed the need for better facilities to provide quality education to students in remote areas.
To further strengthen rural connectivity, she inspected the construction of cement concrete (CC) pavement link roads in NGI Villages, Hawai, and Walla Changung Village. These roads are expected to facilitate smoother transportation and improve access for local communities.
Accompanying the minister were Anjaw Superintendent of Police Riki Kamsi, District Panchayat Development Officer Dakli Gara, PWD Assistant Engineer Gobin Ete, Assistant Mineral Development Officer Bridenso Yun, Hawai CALSOM Chairman Asendo Mitti, and Blong Gram Panchayat Chairperson Lesamso Minin.
Minister Pul reaffirmed the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, particularly in border areas, to improve living conditions and economic opportunities for residents. Despite the challenging weather, the visit highlighted the state’s determination to push forward with key projects essential for the district’s growth.
