Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has underscored women and youth empowerment as pivotal to the state’s growth agenda for 2025, signaling a strategic policy shift.
“Empowering women and youth will remain at the heart of our initiatives as we strive to create a progressive Arunachal,” Mein declared during his New Year address to the state.
This vision is part of the ‘Viksit Arunachal’ initiative, a comprehensive framework designed to drive sustainable development across the northeastern state. The plan emphasizes transformative reforms in education, healthcare, agriculture, and tourism, aiming for holistic progress.
Mein also stressed the importance of public involvement in shaping the state’s future. “Together, we can make 2025 a milestone year for Arunachal,” he said, highlighting the role of collective effort in realizing development goals.
The strategy aligns with Arunachal Pradesh’s aspiration to emerge as a model state in India’s northeast, focusing on balanced sectoral growth while preserving its rich cultural heritage.
