Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has extended his congratulations to Janeth Pinggam, whose debut short film “NUMB” has been nominated at the 17th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2025.
Taking to Twitter, the CM expressed his best wishes for Pinggam’s future endeavors and anticipated more cinematic brilliance from her.
Hailing from Shi-Yomi district, Pinggam’s film was selected from a pool of 1,651 global submissions across 77 countries. The film has been nominated in the short fiction category after a rigorous three-month review process by an international jury.
The Jaipur International Film Festival, scheduled to take place from January 17th to 21st, 2025, will showcase films from countries like the United States, Germany, Canada, China, and the United Kingdom. Established in 2009, JIFF has solidified its position as one of the world’s most competitive platforms for fiction films.
