Ha Tatu, Managing Director of M/s Kenge Construction Co., donated Rs 1,00,000 to the Nari Koyu MLA Relief Fund on July 21. No fanfare. No press conference. Just a straightforward act of solidarity with his own people during one of the toughest periods the region has seen this season. The contribution is directed specifically toward relief and rehabilitation — meaning food, essential materials, and support for families trying to piece their lives back together. That kind of targeted giving matters more than people realize. It’s one thing to donate; it’s another to ensure the money actually reaches those sleeping on damaged floors.

Residents and community leaders didn’t hold back their appreciation. They called it timely and meaningful — two words that say everything when you understand the context. In disaster situations, timing is often as important as the amount itself. A rupee in the first week of crisis does more than ten rupees three months later.
