In a moving and unprecedented recognition, legendary Assamese singer, composer, actor, and cultural icon Zubeen Garg was posthumously conferred three Filmfare Awards 2026 for his outstanding contributions to Assamese cinema and music. Zubeen was honoured in the following categories:
- Best Music Director – for the soundtrack of the blockbuster Assamese film Rongmon
