Arunachal Pradesh BJP chief Kaling Moyong has extended a strong appeal to the people of neighboring Assam, urging them to vote decisively in favor of the BJP-led government for the sake of continued good governance, development, and stability in the region.
Speaking at a public event in Itanagar, Moyong highlighted the remarkable transformation witnessed in Assam under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s leadership. He praised the state’s progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, flood management, and economic opportunities, describing it as a model of effective and people-centric administration.
The Arunachal BJP leader emphasized that the Northeast’s overall growth is deeply interconnected. “When Assam progresses, the entire region benefits. Strong highways, better connectivity, enhanced security, and economic linkages directly impact Arunachal Pradesh and other northeastern states,” Moyong stated. He pointed to successful collaborations between the two states on border resolution, joint infrastructure projects, and shared development goals as proof of what can be achieved under stable and visionary leadership.
Moyong called on Assam voters to reject divisive politics and instead back the BJP’s track record of delivering on promises. “Good governance is not about slogans; it is about visible change—roads, schools, hospitals, jobs, and peace. Assam has seen this change, and the people must protect and strengthen it,” he asserted.
His remarks come at a time when Assam is gearing up for Assembly elections, with the BJP aiming to consolidate its position and continue its development agenda. Moyong’s outreach reflects the growing political and emotional solidarity among northeastern states under the BJP umbrella, as well as the party’s strategy to project regional unity and progress.
The Arunachal BJP chief concluded by expressing confidence that the people of Assam would once again choose the path of development and good governance, ensuring a brighter future not just for their state but for the entire Northeast.
