The finalized roster breaks down to 1,24,82,213 male voters, 1,24,75,583 female voters, and 343 individuals identifying under the third gender category. This adjustment follows a meticulous process designed to enhance the precision of the voter database by eliminating redundancies, invalid entries, and outdated information ahead of future polls.
As per details from the Chief Electoral Officer’s office, the integrated draft electoral roll was made public earlier, succeeding a comprehensive door-to-door survey carried out across Assam. Subsequent to this, a window for submitting claims and objections was provided, culminating in the preparation of the definitive list.
