Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has marked a momentous occasion by inaugurating a vibrant Buddhist monastery in the serene Taksing region of Upper Subansiri district. This event not only celebrates the area’s deep-rooted spiritual legacy but also includes the prestigious enthronement of Aka Tulku Tsering Chaijee Rinpoche as the new Abbot, or Khenpo, of the Tsari Taksing Gajang Shedup Dargeyling Gonpa.
Highlighting the significance of Taksing as a hub of profound spiritual heritage, Khandu expressed optimism that the monastery will emerge as a beacon of faith and moral guidance for generations to come. Sharing his reflections on social media platform X, the Chief Minister detailed his offerings of Mandala and ceremonial khadas to the revered portrait of the Dalai Lama. He prayed for compassion, wisdom, and universal brotherhood to inspire humanity worldwide.
Khandu further conveyed his aspirations for the gonpa, stating it would “illuminate lives with faith and values.” He actively joined the solemn enthronement ritual for Aka Tulku Tsering Chaijee Rinpoche La, invoking blessings for enduring peace, societal harmony, and the prosperity of all sentient beings.
In a heartfelt message to the newly appointed abbot, the Chief Minister wished, “May he be blessed with long life, good health, and wisdom to guide devotees on the path of compassion and enlightenment.”
