The operation is taking place between Arunachal Pradesh’s Pakke Kessang district and Assam’s Biswanath district, involving coordinated efforts from government representatives of both states alongside experts from the Survey of India, representing the central authorities. This collaborative step comes after the signing of a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) designed to address the protracted interstate boundary issues that have persisted for decades.

Arunachal Pradesh’s Seijosa MLA, who also serves as the Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Water Resources, praised the development.
