“Rest assured: the moment BJP steps aside, the Miyas will seize every corner of Assam. I’m making this prediction loud and clear today. Those who vilify us will rue the day, for we form the unbreakable dam holding back the tide between the Miya and our native sons,” Sarma asserted, framing the stakes in stark, unyielding terms. He spotlighted a purported 40 percent of the populace as “fierce and bold,” noting their unabashed social media bravado even under current governance. “Picture their unchecked reign if Congress sweeps back in—they’d claim it all without hesitation.”
