Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Fiery Bihar Rally: India Craves Doctors and Engineers, Not Mullahs; Equates Shahabuddin’s Son to Bin Laden

Assam CM’s Provocative Speech in Siwan Slams RJD Legacy of Terror, Champions Ram Temple Fulfillment, and Rallies NDA Backers Against ‘Osama’ Threat

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unleashed a barrage of sharp rhetoric during a high-voltage election rally in Bihar’s Siwan district, drawing a contentious line between RJD candidate Osama Shahab—son of the notorious late MP Mohammad Shahabuddin—and the infamous terrorist Osama bin Laden. Speaking at Raghunathpur in fervent backing of the NDA’s contender, Sarma framed the contest as a battle between cultural heritage and inherited dread, urging crowds to reject what he branded as a “legacy of fear.”

“This soil belongs to Ram and Sita, not Laden. Every Osama across the nation must be rooted out, one by one,” Sarma thundered, igniting cheers from the assembled supporters. He escalated the discourse by advocating a nationwide clampdown on madrasas, insisting that the country demands professionals in medicine, engineering, science, and defense rather than religious clerics. “Our Muslim siblings must chase dreams of becoming healers and innovators, not mullahs. I view this Osama bin Laden with gravity—America once consigned him to the ocean, and Raghunathpur will replicate that feat,” he proclaimed, weaving a narrative of decisive electoral cleansing.

Sarma’s tirade zeroed in on the Shahabuddin clan’s alleged reign of violence, accusing them of etching a grim milestone in local crime annals. “This family holds a dubious record for bloodshed in Siwan—it’s high time we erase this blemish by rallying behind the NDA and Nitish Kumar,” he asserted, painting the opposition as architects of chaos who stifled progress.

Without directly naming the challenger, the Chief Minister reiterated his vow to purge “all Osamas” from Bihar and beyond, declaring India as the sacred domain of Lord Ram, Krishna, Sita, and Lakshman. He pivoted to the Ram Temple saga, lambasting former stalwarts Lalu Prasad Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav for erecting barriers to its realization, while hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as the visionaries who delivered on this enduring pledge.

The Raghunathpur showdown has morphed into a nail-biting triangular fray, pitting RJD’s Osama Shahab against JD(U)’s Vikas Kumar Singh and Jan Suraj’s Rahul Kirti, with stakes amplified by Siwan’s turbulent political undercurrents.

Sarma’s unfiltered barbs swiftly exploded across digital platforms, sparking a firestorm of polarized responses from political adversaries and observers alike, underscoring the razor-thin fault lines in Bihar’s electoral theater.

This impassioned address not only galvanizes NDA foot soldiers but also reignites debates on religious education, dynastic shadows, and cultural nationalism, positioning Sarma as a polarizing force in the broader opposition to entrenched regional powerhouses.
