In a recent meeting in Siang district, officials evaluated the efforts of banks and government departments in advancing financial inclusion and executing development initiatives. The joint session of the District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Level Review Committee (DLRC), led by Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu, concentrated on increasing credit access to critical sectors, monitoring progress in major programs, and improving coordination between banks and government bodies.
Attendees included representatives from the State Bank of India, Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, ArSRLM, and various departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Water Resources, Urban Development, and Industries.
Taggu stressed the importance of stronger partnerships between banks and departments to promote entrepreneurship, enhance service efficiency, and meet financial inclusion goals promptly. He also requested updated data from departments to improve oversight in future discussions.
The meeting concluded with an open dialogue, allowing officials and bank representatives to share ideas for better collaboration and more effective implementation of government programs throughout the district.
