Ayeng, Arunachal Pradesh – On March 20, 2025, more than 400 people from Ayeng village in East Siang district reaped the benefits of a government outreach program, Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0, organized by the local district administration. The initiative, held under the Mebo Sub-Division, aimed to bring essential services directly to the doorstep of rural communities, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
The camp was officially launched by Mebo MLA Oken Tayeng, joined by key officials including Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sibo Pasing, and other departmental heads. A total of 25 government departments participated, offering a wide range of services, from administrative support to banking assistance, catering to the diverse needs of the 405 beneficiaries in attendance.
A highlight of the event was the distribution of practical resources to uplift local livelihoods. MLA Tayeng and DC Taggu handed out solar lamps to 20 women weavers under the Small Clusters Development Programme (Weaving) by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, aimed at enhancing productivity. Additionally, 30 farmers received Soil Health Cards under a flagship scheme of the Prime Minister, designed to improve agricultural output and sustainability.
The outreach also featured a media advocacy session, organized in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations, to raise awareness about various state and central government schemes. This effort underscored the administration’s commitment to ensuring that residents are well-informed and empowered to access available benefits.
The Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0 program reflects Arunachal Pradesh’s ongoing mission to bridge the gap between government services and its people, particularly in remote areas, fostering development and inclusivity at the grassroots level.
