The program, designed to nurture young sporting talent, is gaining traction in the Mebo Sub-Division, particularly in Kiyit village.

During his visit to the training camp, Minister Sona commended the efforts being made to promote football at the grassroots level. He was joined by Mariyang-Geku MLA Oni Panyang, who also lauded the initiative, emphasizing its potential to instill discipline and provide meaningful engagement for young people.

“This program is not just about football; it’s about shaping the future of our youth,” said Minister Sona. “Sports have the power to transform lives, and I appreciate the efforts being made here to develop local talent.”
