Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh: In a significant development, Arunachal Pradesh’s Health Minister inaugurated a direct flight to Prayagraj, marking a major improvement in air connectivity between the two regions.
The Minister, who was accompanied by other dignitaries, also took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, a sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, to commemorate the occasion.
Boost to Tourism and Economic Growth
The direct flight is expected to boost tourism and economic growth in the region, making it easier for passengers to travel between Arunachal Pradesh and Prayagraj. The flight will also provide a convenient option for devotees attending the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
Pravagraj Airport to Launch More Direct Flights
Prayagraj Airport is also set to launch direct flights to four new cities – Ahmedabad, Indore, Kolkata, and Dehradun – before the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, further enhancing its air connectivity.
The development is seen as a major boost to the region’s air connectivity, making it easier for passengers to travel to and from Prayagraj.
