Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has inaugurated three key infrastructure projects in the Naharlagun area, aimed at improving the state’s capital infrastructure. The projects, worth approximately ₹70 crore, include:
- Double-Lane Steel Arch Bridge at Borum: This bridge will enhance connectivity and alleviate traffic congestion in the area.
- Bypass Road from Pappu-Nallah Bridge Point to Sood: This road will provide an alternative route, reducing traffic congestion and improving travel times.
- Composite Bridge over the Pachin River: Connecting the Naharlagun Railway Station, this bridge will strengthen the region’s infrastructure and facilitate smoother transportation.¹
These projects are part of the government’s efforts to improve infrastructure in Itanagar, making it easier for residents to live and commute.
