The Tani descendants have witnessed it’s evolution from its cradle and still await it’s proper encoding with Unicode systems so that the 13 lakh Tani descendants of both Arunachal Pradesh and Assam especially Adi, Nyishi, Galo, Tagin, Apatani, and Mising etc communities may reap the harvest of literary fruits so as to preserve Tani language. They know that Tanilipi is the only panacea to restore the lost glory of Tani descendants by promoting and preserving Tanilipi and Tani Language that still hiding in obscure despite a large number of 13 lakh population of Tani descendants are finding it difficult to harmonise, and practice their mother tongue with own Indigenous Script in mobile phones so that they can also enjoy typing Tanilipi in their digital gadgets like android and iPhone as well s in computers. Tani Language has been existing since the time immemorial but different tribe of Tani descendants prefer to promote own community dialect like Adi, Nyishi, Galo, d and Mising etc and many are not even aware of the fact that Tani Language has been suffocating under the blankets of Tani communities and curious to rollout to safeguard language of great Abotani.
In its initial stage on 9th April 2001 Lt. Dera Natung then the Erstwhile Hon’ble Education Minister had approved Tanilipi in principle as the common script for those who doesn’t have own indigenous script. Nevertheless very recently in their Silver Jubilee Celebration Dr. Koyu’s hard work brought some colours as the GWS has conferred an Award appreciating his efforts to develop Tanilipi for entire Tani descendants thereby took Cognizant of such a marvelous creation finally gave recognition to Tanilipi of Tani descendants.
The tree reset Tanilipi script, an ingenious creation, has been a source of fascination for linguists, scholars, and enthusiasts alike. Its distinctive characters and writing system have captivated many, inspiring a devoted community that has worked relentlessly to promote and preserve this script. Films have titled with Tanilipi script. Books and banners have been published in Tanilipi.
Dr. Tonykoyu has already authored some 6 books using Tanilipi in own mother out of which 1 novel is “Alv lvkw lo doomv”; “Yabur” and a philosophy on Donyipolo faith viz: ORMEN that all have been uploaded in www.tanilipi.in .Now any one may access it’s online reading. It’s not a joke but a great achievement indeed.
