At Sena Brai, the Deputy Chief Minister officially opened the newly constructed Glow Lake Road and a steel bridge. These developments provide improved access to Glow Lake, a picturesque destination gaining popularity among trekking enthusiasts.
Proposal for Kamlang Tiger Reserve as Ramsar Site
During his visit, officials informed Mein about a proposal to designate the Kamlang Tiger Reserve as a Ramsar site, recognizing it as a wetland of international importance. Mein emphasized the state’s commitment to preserving its unique biodiversity and acknowledged the reserve’s vital role in wildlife protection and environmental sustainability.
Unveiling of Tulow Resort at Parshuram Kund
The Deputy Chief Minister also unveiled the Tulow Resort at Parshuram Kund, a spiritual site along the Lohit River. Developed by Basan Tayeng, the resort combines serene surroundings with cultural significance, offering visitors a peaceful and comfortable stay. Mein commended Tayeng and his team for their efforts in promoting local tourism and expressed best wishes for the resort’s future success.
