Union Home and Cooperatives Minister Amit Shah is set to launch multiple development projects in Tripura tomorrow. The event, scheduled to take place at Kulai RF Village Ground in Dhalai District, will witness the formal inauguration of six projects worth Rs 668.39 crore and the laying of the foundation stone for seven new projects
Inauguration of Six Development Projects
The six projects to be inaugurated by Amit Shah include:
– Senior Basic School in Bruhapara, Dhalai district, built at a cost of Rs 1.56 crore
– Health and Wellness Centre in Bruhapara, built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh
– Market Shed in Bruhapara, built at a cost of Rs 1.9 lakh
– New building of Birashi Mile Primary Health Centre in Dhalai district, built at a cost of Rs 4.85 crore
– Health and Wellness Centre in Ultachhara, built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh
– Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) on Agartala Akhaura Road, built at a cost of Rs 25.86 crore under the Smart City project
Foundation Stone Laying for Seven New Projects
Amit Shah will also lay the foundation stone for seven new projects, including:
– Central Detective Training Institute in Agartala, worth Rs 120 crore
– New office building of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate at Ambassa, worth Rs 12.5 crore
– Sub-Divisional Hospital at Gandatwisa, worth Rs 19.2 crore
– Approach road and two railway overbridges at Jirania in West District, worth Rs 37 crore
– Construction of a road from Debendra Chowdhury Para (Belchhara) to Chanakhla under Padmabil RD Block in Khowai, worth Rs 40.38 crore
– Construction of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) in 11 cities, worth Rs 88.15 crore
– Improvement of 16 km of main roads in Agartala, worth Rs 318 crore
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha will attend the event as the chief guest, along with other distinguished guests, including Lok Sabha MP Kriti Devi Debbarman, Union Home Secretary Govinda Mohan, and Tripura Chief Secretary JK Sinha
